Comes in an untreated, untouched wood format at a standard length of 39″ but can be cut down to 36″ accordingly.

Sanding and treating is mandatory.

“We source our hickory from a supplier in Tennessee that was supplying hickory to the manufactures back in the 20s & 30s.  We take in hickory boards, then painstakingly turn them into dowels, which we check for zero imperfections (wormholes, knots, etc.), strength and straightness of grain.  We then sonically test the shafts using our proprietary process.  Finally, we run these selected shafts through our custom wood lathe, sorting them for stiffness, which allows us to categorize them for flexibility.  This ensures we can customize our clubs and sets to your exacting specifications. It’s a key reason why the best players in the hickory game today request our shafts for their use in play.”
